At significant temperatures, the condensate is transported through metallic pipes e.g. aluminium, but this is often within the boiler, the condensate pipe will usually be found coming out from the back again within your boiler, down the external wall and into the drain. Boilers ideally have to be on an outside wall and shut to an internal drain, W
